Have you not contracted before or simply need some guidance on common workplace issues? Our contracting specialists have put together some FAQ's to assist you.
What is the etiquette on my first day?
Aim to arrive approximately 10 minutes early on your first day. This will give you time to spare should you encounter unexpected travel delays.
Wear a suit on your first day, unless specifically advised otherwise. It is important to portray a professional image. Speak to your direct report or colleagues to learn the company’s dress code for future days.
Have the contact details of the person you need to see when you arrive. You should also have details for an alternative contact such as your Profusion representative or one of the company’s HR employees.
What paperwork do I need to complete?
All Profusion contractors are provided with the necessary paperwork prior to commencing their placement. You may elect to receive the documents online or complete the forms by visiting our office. Paperwork includes the contract assignment, payment (bank) details, superannuation forms, OH&S principles and timesheets.
Can I choose my own superannuation fund?
Yes. Under Super Choices legislation all employees are entitled to nominate their own super fund. If you do not nominate a super fund, Profusion contractors are provided with an Asgard Employees Superannuation account.
Can I increase my super rate from the standard 9%?

My contract has been extended and my role has changed. Should my pay rate change?
The end of a contract is certainly a good time to review your pay rate. With this in mind, please contact your Profusion consultant.
