The Story so far

2004
Profusion was founded in December 2004 by four directors: Simone Mears, Rod Jones, Ashton Bilbie and Alison Loader. From the outset Profusion’s vision was to be the market leader for Executive Search, Permanent and Contract Recruitment for the Banking and Financial Services industry, both in Australia and overseas. Profusion combined industry knowledge and people management expertise to meet client and candidate needs.

2006
In 2006 the leadership team decided to expand the service offering to clients and created a joint venture, iscope, with Craig Michilis as Managing Director. iscope primarily focused on both permanent and contract recruitment in high volume areas of the market, such as operations and customer service.

2008 & 2009
In 2008, Australia’s leading business magazine, BRW, ranked Profusion at number 26 on its “Fast Starters” list and in 2009 it ranked number 17.

2010
iscope merged with Profusion Group and Craig Michilis became the fifth director in the Profusion leadership team.

2011
Further changes occurred in early 2011 with Profusion expanding its footprint into Asia, with the establishment of the Singapore office. Craig Michilis moved across to head up the operation as Regional Director, Asia in April of 2011.
