Role Overview As an Accountant , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to a diverse client base. The scope of responsibilities and level of autonomy will be aligned to your experience, with strong support and training provided at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
  • Completion of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations
  • Managing payroll tax and workers’ compensation reconciliations
  • Liaising with statutory authorities and supporting client queries
  • Contributing to process improvements and best-practice workflows
  • Participating in team initiatives, monthly tax workshops, and professional development sessions
What You Bring You are a proactive accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, high-quality practice environment and is committed to long-term career development.
  • 2+ years’ full-time experience in a Chartered Accounting or professional services environment
  • CA qualified or currently undertaking CA studies
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Familiarity with MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems (or the ability to learn quickly)
  • SMSF and Class Super experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills
  • A client-first mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and take initiative
  • A genuine desire to grow and contribute within a high-performing team
