Role Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Assistant Accountant to kickstart their career in a professional and dynamic environment. In this full-time, on-site position, you’ll be responsible for key transactional accounting functions and gain exposure to the financial operations of a well established firm. This role is ideal for a degree qualified recent graduate who has already gained some entry level accounting experience and is eager to take the next step in a company that offers genuine career progression into an Accountant role.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform accounts payable processing and supplier reconciliations
  • Prepare and complete bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions
  • Assist with month-end processes and financial reporting
  • Work with high volumes of transactional data accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience:
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Some practical experience in an accounting or finance support role (internship, part-time, or full-time)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, able to liaise confidently with a broad range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
  • A team player with the desire to grow and learn in a professional environment
