Associate, Corporate Development 

We are partnering with a leading financial services institution to hire an Associate within its Corporate Development & Strategy function.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing in-house team responsible for end-to-end execution of M&A, divestments, and strategic investments, working directly with senior stakeholders across the business.

You will play a key role in evaluating and executing high-impact, enterprise-level transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and lead end-to-end M&A and divestment processes, including financial analysis, due diligence, and execution
  • Build and own complex financial models to evaluate transactions, including:
    • Integrated 3-statement models
    • DCF and valuation analysis
    • Accretion/dilution and return metrics
  • Conduct strategic and commercial analysis to inform investment decisions
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across finance, strategy, and business units
  • Prepare investment papers and materials for executive and board-level decision-making
  • Evaluate market opportunities, partnerships, and inorganic growth initiatives
Candidate Profile We are seeking high-calibre candidates with strong modelling and transaction experience.
Required Background
  • 3–5 years’ experience in:
    • Investment Banking (M&A / Coverage / Leveraged Finance), or
    • Big 4 Transaction Services / Deals, or
    • Corporate Development within a large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience working on live transactions and financial modelling
Technical Skills
  • Advanced financial modelling capability (essential)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, transactions)
    • M&A mechanics and deal structuring
  • Ability to build models from first principles with minimal supervision

  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
