The Opportunity
Step into a high‑impact leadership role where your expertise shapes the reliability and performance of key customer-facing applications. As the AWS DevOps Lead, you’ll steer service stability, drive automation, uplift engineering capability, and guide a 24/7 operational environment to world‑class standards. You’ll bridge application support and cloud delivery teams, ensuring smooth, secure, and cost‑efficient operations.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and optimise AWS services powering major customer workloads.
- Lead incident response, service readiness, and operational governance.
- Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Support Kubernetes microservices on EKS and streamline deployments using HELM.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, or Artifactory.
- Enhance observability using Splunk, CloudWatch, or other modern monitoring tools.
- Mentor L2 support teams and encourage a high-performing, collaborative culture.
- Champion best practice in security, compliance, automation, and cost efficiency.
- 5+ years’ hands-on AWS experience in large-scale environments.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices, and EKS deployments.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby, JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of modern CI/CD workflows and DevOps tooling.
- Experience leading offshore or distributed teams.
- AWS certification, ideally at the Professional level.
