Role Overview
As a Business Banking Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of SME clients, delivering tailored lending and banking solutions. You will partner closely with internal teams and stakeholders to provide exceptional service while driving commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and manage strong relationships with SME business clients
- Act as a trusted advisor delivering tailored banking and lending solutions
- Manage a portfolio of commercial customers with complex lending needs
- Conduct client reviews to identify opportunities across lending, payments, FX and cash flow
- Prepare high-quality credit submissions and deal proposals
- Deliver against performance metrics across customer, risk and financial outcomes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support deal execution
Skills & Experience
- Experience in business or commercial banking
- Strong understanding of SME lending and credit analysis
- Ability to assess credit risk including structuring and repayment considerations
- Proven relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong written and verbal communication ability
- Understanding of the regulatory and competitive banking environment
