With significant growth across the Australian market, the firm is seeking to appoint a senior Business Development professional to drive wholesale distribution activity across Victoria and Tasmania.
Reporting to the Head of Wholesale, this is a highly visible opportunity to represent a sophisticated global investment capability across key intermediary relationships including licensees, wholesale consultants, private wealth groups and independent advisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships across wholesale licensees, independent wealth firms, private banks and advisory groups
- Drive new business flows across a suite of global equity investment strategies
- Partner with research teams to support ratings, approved list inclusion and model portfolio adoption
- Deliver compelling portfolio, market and investment philosophy presentations to adviser audiences
- Execute strategic territory business plans across VIC, SA and TAS
- Maintain strong engagement activity and market intelligence through CRM systems
- Provide high-quality ongoing servicing to existing clients and intermediary partners
- Proven funds management or platform distribution experience within wholesale/intermediary markets. Excellent BDA's ready to step up will be considered also.
- Strong existing relationships across the Victorian adviser and licensee landscape
- Solid investment markets knowledge and the ability to articulate investment concepts clearly
- Highly developed relationship management and presentation skills
- A proactive, self-driven and commercially minded approach
- The ability to operate effectively within an entrepreneurial, high-performance boutique environment
