Role Overview
This is a Business Development Manager role focused on growing consumer lending through broker and aggregator relationships. You will own your territory, drive new broker acquisition and deepen existing partnerships with brokers and aggregators alike.
The role requires regular time in market, meeting brokers and customers and representing the brand.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, acquire and grow broker accounts within your territory
- Strengthen relationships with aggregator partners
- Drive market share across personal loan and automotive lending products
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies
- Represent the business at industry events and broker forums
- Provide training and product support to broker partners
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and sales leadership
- Track and report on sales performance against targets
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in sales, business development or account management within financial services (ideally in broking, equipment finance or non-bank environment with exposure to consumer lending)
- Strong exposure to broker or third‑party distribution channels
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Solid understanding of consumer lending products and credit fundamentals
- Strong relationship‑building, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a field‑based role
- Well‑organised with strong time management skills
