A highly successful boutique real estate funds management group is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their growing national team. With a proven track record of strategic acquisitions including premium office assets in Brisbane's Milton precinct, Gold Coast commercial properties, and retail assets across QLD, this business is positioned for continued growth and now seeks a high-performing BDM to drive capital raising efforts in the Brisbane market.
The Role
As a BDM, you'll be responsible for:
- Sourcing and building relationships with wholesale and sophisticated private investors
- Capital raising for commercial property syndication opportunities (typical raise $30M-$60M+ per asset)
- Developing and maintaining a strong network within the financial planning, accounting, and high net worth investor communities
- Working closely with the national team (staff across Perth HQ, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne)
- Delivering 3-4+ quality deals per year
About You
The ideal candidate will have either a commercial real estate agency background in sales or leasing, or come from a traditional financial services distribution background
- Proven ability to prospect, network and build relationships with high net worth individuals and wholesale investors
- Strong understanding of commercial property fundamentals and investment structures - Hunter mentality with the ability to hustle and perform in competitive market conditions
- Existing networks in Brisbane's commercial property or investment community (highly regarded)
- Confidence presenting investment opportunities to sophisticated investors
- Highly competitive base salary ($180K-$250K depending on experience)
