About the Role
My client is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is focused on building and nurturing broker relationships, promoting a full suite of mortgage products, and driving revenue growth. You’ll act as a trusted advisor and business coach to your broker panel, helping them unlock opportunities and grow their business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to brokers and their clients across loan enquiries, applications, and existing loans
- Manage a proactive sales pipeline, converting leads into successful outcomes
- Educate brokers on lending solutions and how they can support business growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to support broader business initiatives and enhance broker and customer satisfaction
- Proven success in business development, sales, and relationship management
- Experience in mortgage lending, particularly within the broker or third-party channel
- Strong network and existing relationships in the broker market
- Demonstrated ability to grow and manage a broker panel
- Solid understanding of the Australian lending landscape and regulatory environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial reports and market trends
- Project management experience is a plus
- A proactive “hunter” mentality with a passion for exceeding targets
- Self-motivated with strong time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
- Confident working independently and collaboratively
- Clear and concise written communication skills
