The Opportunity
A leading funds management provider with longstanding adviser relationships across Australia is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to help deepen partnerships and accelerate growth in the Queensland market. Working in close collaboration and with accounts shared evenly alongside a senior colleague, you’ll play a strategic role at the cross-section of relationship management and technical sales.
With new products set to launch in the private markets space, you’ll join a business that combines the resources and credibility of a major institutional manager with the agility and inclusive culture of a boutique.
Your Focus
- Building on entrenched adviser relationships and further developing business with key accounts across Queensland
- Sharing accounts and working collaboratively within a small, collegiate team environment
- Engaging across dealer group management, product specialists, advice and accounting firms
- Strong presence in the Queensland advice sector, ideally with established relationships from platform, wholesale or asset management sales
- Naturally collaborative, adaptable and able to work seamlessly within a high-performing team
- Polished communicator with a highly professional persona and genuine client focus
- Proven ability to open doors and maintain long-term adviser partnerships
- Well-educated, ideally holding (or working toward) a CIMA, CFA or relevant Masters' qualification
- Deep understanding of financial markets, investment solutions and portfolio construction
- Remuneration circa $180,000 – $220,000 + Super
- Performance bonus range: 25–100%
