A respected and well-established financial services business is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its distribution team in Brisbane. This role is focused on re-engaging an established client base, driving new business growth, and strengthening relationships across the financial advice, stockbroking, and broader wealth market.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded BDM who enjoys working autonomously, building strong industry relationships, and representing a specialist platform with a clear market point of difference. You’ll be joining a business with strong backing, a collaborative leadership team, and a growth agenda focused on expanding market share and deepening adviser engagement.
The Opportunity
The business offers a specialist wealth platform supporting advisers and brokers with flexible investment solutions, including individual HIN-based structures and access to listed securities. It is well established across key industry networks and continues to invest in distribution, service, and strategic growth.
In this role, you’ll manage an under-serviced client base, re-establish connections, identify new opportunities, and help position the business for its next phase of growth. There is also future opportunity to broaden into additional markets as the role evolves.
About You
- Proven BDM experience within financial services, platforms, wealth, or related markets.
- Strong relationships across stockbroking and/or financial planning.
- Highly service-driven, relationship focused, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Commercially strong with a track record of exceeding growth targets.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder skills.
