We're looking for an experienced Client Manager / Client Advisor with 6+ years of public practice experience who wants genuine ownership of their clients, the opportunity to mentor a team, and the chance to play a meaningful role in growing a successful advisory practice. What you'll be doing
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, taking ownership of relationships, workflow, deadlines and WIP.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and confidently lead client meetings.
- Review financial statements, tax returns and advisory work, providing high-quality technical oversight.
- Identify commercial opportunities, risks and areas where you can add further value to your clients.
- Prepare and contribute to advice across taxation, financial and investment matters.
- Develop and mentor junior and senior team members, sharing your technical knowledge and helping others progress.
- Provide strategic advice around Division 7A and broader tax matters.
- Research complex technical issues and translate your findings into practical advice for clients.
- Take an active role in improving processes, systems and the way the team delivers its services.
- Contribute to wider firm initiatives and help shape the culture and future direction of the business.
- 6+ years' experience in Australian public practice accounting.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
- Experience managing a client portfolio and building genuine client relationships.
- Someone who enjoys mentoring, developing and leading others.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive and confident in identifying opportunities for clients.
- Someone who wants to progress their career rather than simply manage a compliance workload.
