Role Overview
Reporting to the Group Company Secretary, lead delivery of board and committee governance across the group and support senior stakeholders on key governance matters. Prior experience in wealth management, superannuation, trustees or managed investments would be highly advantageous.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage Board & Committee cycles – agendas, papers, minutes
- Provide governance advice to Directors and senior executives
- Maintain and improve governance frameworks, policies and delegations
- Oversee regulatory and statutory reporting and filings
- Monitor APRA / ASIC developments and implement changes
- Manage director onboarding, training and performance programs
- Lead and mentor a small secretariat and administrative team
- Embed AI capability
- 5 years+ experience in Company Secretariat or Governance within an APRA-regulated entity
- Strong knowledge of Board governance and regulatory requirements
- Meticulous drafting skills – board papers, minutes, governance docs
- Track record and commitment to best practice and continuous improvement
- Discretion and ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
- Relevant qualifications in Law, Business or Governance
- Direct exposure to Board and executive leadership
