An opportunity is available for an experienced Data Analyst / Liquidity Data Steward to join a large, complex financial services environment supporting Treasury and liquidity functions.
This role sits within a Liquidity Data Management team and plays a key part in ensuring the integrity, quality, and governance of critical data used for regulatory and business decision-making. You’ll work closely with Treasury, technology, and data stakeholders across the organisation.
The role As a Liquidity Data Steward, you will assess and trace end-to-end data flows back to their source, ensuring data is accurate, well-governed, and fit for purpose. You will use enterprise data management tools to document data lineage, identify data quality issues, and support remediation activities.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across data, process, and stakeholders within a regulated financial services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Trace and document end-to-end data flows and data lineage
- Identify, log, and manage data quality issues and remediation plans
- Use data management and governance tools to support control frameworks
- Partner with Treasury and business stakeholders to understand critical data elements
- Support improvements to data processes, controls, and documentation
- Contribute to broader data governance initiatives
- Experience in data management, data quality, or data governance
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to assess complex data flows
- Knowledge of Treasury and financial products within financial services is a nice to have
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills across business and technology teams
- Familiarity with data management tools, plus Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-starting approach
- 18-month contract with a well-established financial services organisation
