ABOUT THE ROLE
This role takes ownership of the Workday data strategy and ensures data integrity across the full lifecycle. From architecture design and modelling, through to migration, integration and governance. You’ll work closely with business partners, technical teams and vendors to ensure data is accurate, accessible and aligned to enterprise objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end‑to‑end Workday data architecture , including modelling, standards, and integration design across HCM, Payroll, Finance and broader enterprise systems.
- Oversee all Workday data migration activities , including mapping, transformation, validation, ETL and reconciliation from legacy platforms.
- Establish and maintain strong data governance , ensuring accuracy, quality, compliance and alignment with enterprise risk frameworks.
- Partner with key stakeholders such as product owners, platform leads, architects, security, and external vendors to ensure data requirements are met.
- Produce clear documentation and promote transparency , supporting long‑term maintainability and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Experience with Workday data and/or Workday transformation or implementations .
- Strong familiarity with Payroll module of Workday.
- Strong background in data architecture, data modelling or data leadership roles.
- Solid understanding of system integration patterns, data governance and quality controls.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technology and business.
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments beneficial.
