DevOps Engineer - AWS

Role Overview

You will play a crucial role in the ongoing development of our market-leading, public cloud-based API frontend Payments platform. 

We are seeking someone collaborative who is not afraid to challenge the status quo if something isn't working, and someone who can thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing new features, continuously improving the existing software development lifecycle process.
• Driving scalability, automation, and innovation as an enabler for our Payments Products.
• Collaborating closely with the Product and Operations team to integrate modern toolsets, best practices, and techniques into testing, staging, and production environments.
• Providing expertise on the technical feasibility and scope of DevOps tooling/engineering to solve problems and deliver features.
• Utilizing best practice methodologies/tools to optimize continuous integration, deployment, and software delivery, ensuring cost-effective and fit-for-purpose solutions meet performance, cost, and SLA requirements.

• Proficient in Public Cloud/DevOps functions, preferably in a multi-account AWS organization.
• Expert in provisioning AWS Cloud serverless infrastructure (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Secrets Manager, etc.).
• Experienced in AWS networking infrastructure  (VPC, VPN, route tables, transit gateway).
• Experienced in AWS security (security groups, IAM Users, Roles, policy; IAM SSO desirable).
• Expertise in developing and deploying high-quality software solutions.
• Proficient in Terraform  IAC infrastructure development, maintenance, and deployment.
• Proficient with source control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
