Our client is hiring a DevOps Engineer
as part of a high-impact digital transformation program. This is a rare opportunity to shape core platform engineering as the bank modernises its infrastructure and delivery pipeline.
The role:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery velocity and reliability.
- Develop and support containerisation solutions (.NET) using Docker and Kubernetes .
- Lead cloud migration efforts from on-prem to Azure, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
- Drive automation of infrastructure and configuration management tasks using CHEF .
- Collaborate across engineering, QA, and operations teams to streamline DevOps processes.
- Own migration of existing tooling (CHEF, Bamboo, Jenkins) to GitLab CI/CD.
- Monitor and optimise system performance, reliability, and security post-migration.
- Proven hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools – ideally GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred), containerisation ( Docker , Kubernetes ).
- Prior experience with .NET applications , including deployment and performance tuning.
- Experience migrating legacy build tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) to modern platforms like GitLab.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
