Job Description
As Director, Business Services & Tax, you will:
- Set strategic direction for the division and champion innovation and quality.
- Manage a significant portfolio, delivering proactive tax planning, structuring, and commercial advisory.
- Build trusted relationships and broaden service lines across the firm.
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team (Senior Managers, Managers, Accountants, Graduates, Support).
- Own divisional financials: budgets, profitability, WIP, debtors, and delivery efficiency.
- Contribute to the executive leadership group and firm-wide initiatives.
Successful Applicant
- CA/CPA with 10+ years in public practice, including senior leadership.
- Deep technical strength in Australian taxation, structures, and reporting.
- Proven in business development and portfolio growth with SMEs, corporates, and HNW.
- Authentic leader: coaches, lifts standards, and drives accountability.
- Commercial, influential, and comfortable operating at executive level.
