Role overview:
- Lead the mobile platform, uplift 'ways of working' and instill an understanding of mobile platforms across the greater team
- Oversee the full mobile development lifecycle - from coding and testing to deployment and optimization
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of mobile apps across iOS and Android
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to turn business needs into technical solutions
- Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering innovation and collaboration
- Proven experience as a Mobile Tech Lead, Mobile Engineering Lead, Architect, or similar role
- Strong expertise in:
- React Native (TypeScript)
- iOS development (Swift / Objective C)
- Android development (Kotlin / Java)
- Relevant programming languages, such as Swift/Objective-C, TypeScript)
- CI/CD Pipeline (GitHub Actions / Fastlane)
- AWS
- Experience with mobile platform build tools and performance optimization, including DevSecOps practices
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.1 Level AA).
