Role Overview
As Executive Manager – Customer Risk, you will own the development, methodology and implementation of the dynamic Customer Risk Assessment (dCRA) framework and ensure it is explainable, scalable and regulatory‑ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design and documentation of the dCRA model
- Define methodology, data inputs, logic and governance
- Integrate dCRA with monitoring, ECDD and wider FC processes
- Review customer‑risk rating approaches and identify gaps
- Embed emerging AML/CTF obligations and industry best practice
- Work with Technology, Data and Transformation on system and data needs
- Prepare clear, regulator‑ready documentation and artefacts
- Identify new behavioural, transactional and contextual data sources
- Support regulatory engagement as required
- Track milestones, dependencies and model integration
- Support business units with operational impacts and control uplift
- Advise on typologies and global dCRA developments
- Contribute to the dCRA implementation roadmap
- 5+ years in AML/CTF, financial crime, operational risk or governance
- Experience delivering dCRA or enterprise‑level FC frameworks
- Strong knowledge of AML/CTF obligations, AUSTRAC expectations and FC typologies
- Ability to design, interpret or document risk‑model methodologies
- Excellent written communication for reports and regulatory documents
- Strong stakeholder management across risk, compliance and technology
- Able to lead complex risk uplift work with minimal direction
- Strategic ownership of a high‑priority risk capability
