Role Overview

As a detailed orientated and experienced bookkeeper, you will be primarily responsible for providing support to a client base consisting of mostly family office groups. 
  • Completing bank reconciliations and cash flow management
  • Month end reporting
  • Accounts payable and receivables 
  • Debtor management
  • Payroll and superannuation obligations 
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and BAS reports
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures
Skills & Experience
  • min 5 years experience in a small to mid sized practice or family office
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all areas
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting & bookkeeping 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
  • Certificate IV Bookkeeping & Accounting or equivalent
  • In depth experience with various accounting software packages including: Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, initiative and reliability 
  • A great, positive, can-do attitude is essential alongside excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
