Role Overview
As a detailed orientated and experienced bookkeeper, you will be primarily responsible for providing support to a client base consisting of mostly family office groups.
- Completing bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Month end reporting
- Accounts payable and receivables
- Debtor management
- Payroll and superannuation obligations
- Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and BAS reports
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures
- min 5 years experience in a small to mid sized practice or family office
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all areas
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting & bookkeeping
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
- Certificate IV Bookkeeping & Accounting or equivalent
- In depth experience with various accounting software packages including: Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, initiative and reliability
- A great, positive, can-do attitude is essential alongside excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Work outside of Melbourne CBD in lovely offices based at South Yarra. Hybrid work arrangements, 1-2 days at home. Competitive salary pack on offer.
