Functional Oracle Consultant - 6-month Contract

We are partnering with a well-known business in Australia that’s undergoing a major enterprise transformation.
They’re looking for a Functional Oracle Consultant with strong experience across HCM to help optimise, enhance, and support the platform across key business functions.

The Opportunity:

This role sits within a high-performing internal Oracle team and will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders. You'll help deliver ongoing enhancements to their Oracle Fusion HCM platform and provide hands-on functional expertise across modules like Core HR, Absence, Talent, and Payroll.
The business has a long-term Oracle roadmap in place, with plenty of upcoming projects and room for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Talent, and Compensation
  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Lead or contribute to end-to-end implementations and enhancements
  • Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT), training, change management and go-live
  • Work collaboratively with both business users and technical teams
  • Stay across Oracle updates/releases and assess business impacts
What You’ll Need:
  • Proven experience as a Functional Oracle Consultant, ideally within Fusion HCM
  • Strong understanding of HCM processes and system configuration
  • Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or large enterprise environments (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
