They are seeking a driven salesperson to further growth across superannuation, asset consultants and other institutional channels.
  
The Opportunity
With a broad product offering comprising domestic/global Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives there is significant opportunity to add value to your clients portfolios.

This role is responsible for developing and executing a targeted institutional sales and business strategy across the Australian market. You will work closely with the Head of Institutional Sales to build a strong pipeline, increase prospect-conversion rates and deepen relationships across key segments.

You’ll also contribute to broader product and business development initiatives, providing insights into changing client requirements, market dynamics and emerging opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and execute a sustainable institutional sales strategy across allocated geographies and markets
  • Develop an institutional sales plan with a strong focus on pipeline rigour, measurement and conversion outcomes
  • Manage and enhance relationships with institutional clients, prospects and asset consultants
  • Advise on product development and positioning based on client requirements and market trends
  • Represent the business with credibility, technical depth and commercial awareness
  • Work with boutique asset-management partners to support and expand institutional offerings
  • Maintain CRM activity, notes and accurate forecasting
Skills & Experience
You will be a proven institutional sales professional with deep knowledge of the funds-management landscape and a track record of driving meaningful inflows.
  • 3-7 years’ experience in institutional business development
  • Advanced understanding of investment markets across multiple asset classes
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to engage with CIOs, portfolio managers and asset consultants
  • Highly credible communicator with strong analytical and strategic capabilities
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications; CIMA/FINSIA/RG146 desirable
