Role Overview
As an Intermediate Accountant, you’ll support financial reporting, compliance work and client engagement while developing your technical capability.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare journals, reconciliations and month‑end reports
- Assist with financial statements and year‑end processes
- Prepare BAS, GST and tax compliance documentation
- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and documentation
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- 1–3 years’ accounting experience
- Understanding of core accounting principles
- CA/CPA underway or intention to commence
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
