This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of advisory and principal investing, supporting transactions across the full capital structure for mining and natural resources clients.

As an Associate, you will play a key role in the execution of transactions and delivery of strategic advice across M&A, structured credit, and capital solutions. You will work closely with senior dealmakers and gain exposure to both advisory mandates and principal investments.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Financial modelling and valuation analysis across M&A and credit opportunities
  • Supporting execution of transactions including due diligence, structuring, and documentation
  • Preparing investment papers, client presentations, and marketing materials
  • Conducting industry and asset-level analysis across metals & mining sectors
  • Engaging with clients, sponsors, and internal stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with strong technical ability, commercial acumen, and a genuine interest in the resources sector.
Ideal background:
  • 2–5 years’ experience in investment banking (M&A), private credit, leveraged finance, or corporate advisory
  • Experience working on transactions within metals & mining, energy, or broader natural resources is highly regarded
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Strong academic background in finance, economics, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Why Join?

  • Lean team structure with significant responsibility and senior access
  • Strong deal flow and growth trajectory globally
This role is well-suited to an ambitious Associate looking to deepen their experience in metals & mining while gaining broader exposure across private credit and complex capital solutions.
