Key Responsibilities:
  
  1. Deal Origination: Identify, source, and evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities within the NSW market, leveraging an extensive network of industry contacts.
  2. Credit Structuring: Assist in the developing and structuring complex credit deals, assessing credit risks, financial viability, and market dynamics.
  3. Due Diligence: Lead due diligence efforts, including financial analysis, property inspections, legal review, and market research to assess investment opportunities thoroughly.
  4. Deal Execution: Oversee the end-to-end deal execution process, including negotiation of terms, legal documentation, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
  5. Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of the existing portfolio, assess the need for refinancing, and take necessary actions to maximize returns while minimizing risks.
  6. Market Analysis: Stay updated on real estate market trends, regulations, and competitor activities in NSW to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with and lead the investment team whilst working collaboratively with legal, and finance departments to ensure smooth deal execution and compliance with fund guidelines.
  
Qualifications:
  
  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial credit real estate, with a strong background in structuring and executing complex real estate transactions.
  3. Proven track record of successfully originating and closing real estate investment deals, with a focus on commercial properties.
  4. Extensive knowledge of commercial real estate markets in NSW.
  5. Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
  6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  7. Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Professional network within the real estate and financial industries in the region.
  9. Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and underwriting principles.
