Role Overview
- Conduct initial investment and operational due diligence on managers, advisers, licensees and funds in line with governance policies
- Collaborate with clients on product design, disclosure and investment documentation standards
- Ensure clear articulation of investment philosophy, process and supporting documents (e.g. PDS, mandates, charters)
- Prepare reports and recommendations and attend Investment Committee meetings
- Identify and escalate investment governance matters requiring Responsible Entity involvement
- Liaise with relationship management, product and investment operations teams on implementation and changes
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships across trustee services, compliance, product, platforms and distribution
- Tertiary Education in Business Studies, Finance etc.
- 4+ years of experience in an investment and/or operational due diligence, governance or compliance role ideally in a funds management, platform, super fund, asset consulting business.
- Strong understanding of investments, asset allocation and funds management
- Strong compliance and governance focus
- Team player that enjoys working in a fast paced, agile and growth focused business
- Effective communicator both written and verbal
- Proven experience in building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Previous investment committee experience (preferred)
- RG146 compliance (preferred)
