Role Overview:
A hands-on Lead DevEx role at the intersection of engineering, platform, and productivity; driving initiatives that make it faster, easier, and smarter for engineers to build, test, and deploy.
Work closely with senior engineers to turn architecture into scalable solutions, mentor teams, and stay close to the code.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and deliver developer tooling, pipelines, and scalable platform capabilities (APIs, registries, portals)
- Stay hands-on with code, leading complex and greenfield builds while breaking architecture into clear deliverables
- Drive best practice across DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering workflows to improve quality and speed
- Mentor engineers and uplift capability across squads
- Lead incident response and embed continuous improvement practices
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities to enhance developer productivity and experience
- Strong hands-on engineering background across Go, Java (Spring Boot), or TypeScript (React/Next.js)
- Experience building developer tooling, internal platforms, or engineering productivity solutions
- Deep understanding of backend systems and scalable architecture
- Proven capability leading complex technical initiatives end-to-end
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automation
- Exposure to developer environments, IDE tooling, or platform engineering concepts
- Strong ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction
- Practical understanding or strong interest in AI/LLM applications in engineering workflows
