Job Description
As a Manager in Business Services, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of private clients and SME groups, acting as the primary relationship lead. Your role will be a blend of technical review, advisory, and people leadership, with support from capable senior accountants and intermediates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and reviewing business services and tax compliance work
- Acting as the main client contact, providing trusted advisory support
- Mentoring and developing senior and intermediate accountants
- Working closely with partners on workflow, resourcing, and client strategy
- Contributing to process improvement and practice growth initiatives
Successful Applicant
You will ideally have:
- CA or CPA qualification
- 7+ years’ experience in Australian public practice (Business Services / Tax)
- Proven experience managing client portfolios and reviewing team work
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with business owners
- A collaborative mindset and interest in long-term career progression
