Role Overview:
This role will lead a team that directly impacts its member's digital experience. Your team will automate, build and maintain digital platforms, with a focus on automated recoverability of infrastructure and API orchestration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a high-performing team of cloud platform and network engineers.
- Drive the Cloud Platform (Azure) product and project roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership for cloud architecture.
- Design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms and cloud landing zones.
- Lead cloud automation efforts including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Leadership experience within Cloud infrastructure/applications.
- Expert knowledge of API connectivity and security.
- Strong developer mindset applied to infrastructure automation in cloud environments, demonstrating ability to build Immutable infrastructure and applications using Iac (Terraform, Ansible etc).
- Hands-on expertise in Azure, including WAF, DNS, API Management, Function Apps, and networking.
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps.
- Proven leadership of engineering teams (direct and indirect reports), with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experienced in Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for digital and integration platforms.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
