The Opportunity
A highly respected national mid-tier accounting and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Business Advisory Manager to join its growing Brisbane office.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of business services and advisory clients with annual fees of approximately $1 million.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for a diverse client base, including privately owned businesses, family groups and larger enterprises with turnovers exceeding $20 million.
- Deliver high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services.
- Review financial statements, income tax returns and other compliance work prepared by the wider team.
- Provide proactive business, tax and commercial advice to clients.
- Manage workflow, budgets and client deliverables across multiple engagements.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of onshore and offshore accountants.
- Support Partners in driving client growth, service delivery and team performance.
- Identify opportunities to add value and strengthen client relationships.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- 6+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting.
- Previous experience operating at Manager level within Business Services or Business Advisory.
- Demonstrated experience managing a significant client portfolio.
- Exposure to larger privately owned businesses and complex client groups.
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop team members, including offshore staff.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to provide value-added advice to clients.
- Seeking a collaborative office environment with flexibility, rather than a fully remote position.
- Salary package up to $155,000 - $165,000.
- Annual firm-wide salary review process, with performance bonuses and remuneration increases typically awarded as part of the yearly review cycle.
