A leader in their field, our client is looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join their infrastructure platforms team on an initial 6 month contact. Enterprise environment - Palo Alto, F5, Imperva.
The role
Playing a pivotal role, you'll work to deliver on a network security strategy which enables peer infrastructure and broader technology teams to work seamlessly.
- Provide management, development and support of Network Security platforms including Firewall, Proxy, Application Load balancing, IPS, IPSec and Encryption systems.
- Identify and build tools (self-service, automation) to help with continuous delivery, continuous development, and security based Devops (SecDevOps).
- Manage daily operations of our on-premise and cloud-based platforms.
You will have broad experience across the following products:
- Firewalls/IPS - Palo Alto Networks
- Load Balancing & Application Firewall – F5
- Cloud WAF / DDOS/ CDN Services
- Web Proxy Services – Netskope
- IPSEC B2B VPN – Cisco ASA
- Understanding of Cloud Web Services – AWS, Azure.
- Knowledge of the OSI layers and good troubleshooting skills up to an application level with a proven ability to analyse packet captures
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability work cross-functionally.
