Company Overview
This market leading brokerage and advice business with strong exposure across financial planning and both commercial and residential lending has a supportive structure and support team in place for their brokers and advisors to nurture and build their business.
Role Overview
This is a true parabroker role with full ownership of the credit function. You sit within a three‑person pod (Parabroker, CSM, VA) supporting a senior Mortgage Broker.
You are the credit lead — there is no separate credit team.
Key responsibilities
- Structure and lodge all deals within your pod (20–25 per month at scale)
- Workshop deals at fact‑find stage — servicing, policy and structure
- Liaise directly with lender credit teams and BDMs
- Manage policy exceptions, servicing issues and credit responses
- Maintain an active pipeline of ~40–55 deals
Skills & Experience
- 2–3+ years as a Parabroker, Loan Writer, Broker Associate or Credit Analyst
- Strong income assessment across PAYG and self‑employed clients
- Solid lender policy knowledge across a broad panel
- Hands‑on experience with ApplyOnline or LoanApp
- Confident dealing directly with lender credit teams
