Company Overview
Our client is a leading national advisory and wealth management firm. They are seeking to add a Product Manager to their team. This role will ideally suit someone who has two plus years as a Product Manager and is seeking a career move which will provide great opportunity for greater autonomy, learning and career progression. We will also consider someone who has been working as an Assistant Product Manager, or in a related Product area (investment governance, product communications, investment research, menu selection etc.) who is seeking to move into a Product Manager role.
Role Overview
- Responsible for the management of products including new product set-up and termination, product disclosure, and governance.
- Ensure product governance, compliance processes, controls procedures, and policies are followed, regularly reviewed and updated.
- Ensure all offer documents, such as Product Disclosure Statements and Target Market Determinations, are accurate and comply with regulatory requirements
- Ensure approved operational and governance-based product development processes are followed
- Act as project manager & key SME to complete PDS annual roll & any related update to TMDs or other materials
- Project manage and co-ordinate cross functional team in relation to Product related projects
- Hands on experience with new product set up & terminations
- Excellent project management skills in a product setting
- Proven ability to manage PDS and TMD’s (accurate and compliant) as well as complete PDS annual roll & any related update to TMD’s (or other materials)
- Excellent understanding of product operational and governance-based systems, legislation and requirements
- Strong and proven stakeholder management and engagement skills
- Able to effectively manage resources, pipeline workload, and manage multiple business priorities
- Strong technical base across investment products (strong knowledge of unit trusts and managed accounts and how they operate)
