Role Overview
Sitting within the CDAO division, as the Program Manager you will lead a multi-year modernisation of the enterprise data platform, migrating from legacy AWS-native environments to a contemporary Databricks lakehouse architecture.
The initial 6–12 months will focus on standing up governance foundations, delivery rhythms, resource structures and stakeholder alignment to ensure the program is set up for success.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish core program governance, delivery structure and reporting
• Build and maintain program plans, risks, dependencies and financial controls (c.$10M budget)
• Manage multiple technology streams across BI, data engineering, governance and analytics
• Oversee vendor and SI partner engagement and ongoing output
• Lead organisational readiness, change and communication activities
• Engage senior executives locally and internationally (including structured U.S. coordination)
• Ensure delivery quality, sequencing and remediation of issues across the program lifecycle
Skills & Experience Required
• Over 8 years’ program/project management experience across large data or platform transformation programs
• Experience delivering modern data environments (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Strong governance, planning and risk management capability
• Excellent senior stakeholder management; able to influence across complex organisations
• Experience managing vendors, SIs and mixed delivery teams
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile highly regarded
• Financial services experience beneficial but not essential
