Role Overview:
As a Project Coordinator, you will support Project and Program Managers to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
Your role will involve coordinating and tracking multiple concurrent projects using tools such as Jira and MS Project, ensuring tasks are clearly scoped, assigned, and updated.
Core Duties:
- Contribute to project delivery through scheduling, status reporting, risk and issue management, and decision tracking.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and key deliverables, including status reports, RAID registers, presentations, communications, and training materials.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Ensure adherence to project delivery frameworks and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Track key project metrics including budget, resource utilisation, and timelines.
- Assist with governance processes and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Experience supporting project delivery in financial services.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, or PMBOK preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Demonstrated initiative in program scheduling, risk identification, and reporting, including backlog refinement and project reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and tools such as SharePoint or Visio.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; project or change management qualifications are desirable but not essential.
