In this role, you’ll help a cross-functional squad deliver new features and improvements on a highly regarded release train within the bank.
Role Overview
With the support of experienced delivery leaders and technical experts, you will:
- Coordinate end-to-end feature delivery within a focused team, with mentoring and guidance along the way
- Run key agile meetings like sprint planning, daily check-ins (stand-ups), reviews, and retrospectives
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Testers to ensure smooth delivery and prioritisation
- Keep stakeholders informed on progress, blockers, and delivery timelines – don't worry, you'll get help learning how!
- Understand and support team priorities, working with business partners to align on goals
- Promote transparency, helping maintain backlogs and sharing updates in simple, clear ways
- Support the agile mindset – championing collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared ownership
- Grow your leadership skills, with opportunities to coach others and contribute to better ways of working
- Learn to manage risks and blockers, with the support of your delivery lead and technical teams
- Get hands-on with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD platforms as part of your delivery toolkit
We’re after someone eager to learn and ready to grow. You will ideally have:
- Ideally 1–2 years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Some exposure to digital projects or technical teams, ideally with agile ways of working
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- A problem-solving mindset and willingness to ask questions
- A competitive salary package of up to $120,000 + Super
- Permanent, full-time role based in the Gold Coast with flexible hybrid working arrangements
