Automation Engineer - Playwright - $160k+Super+Bonus - Gold Coast
We’re partnering with a leading financial services organisation who are growing their team on the Gold Coast. They’re looking for a hands-on Senior QA Engineer with strong Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript automation experience to join their team
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- API testing with tools like Postman, Charles or Burp.
- Writing and executing test cases across mobile (iOS/Android) and desktop platforms.
- Integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo/Jenkins).
- Collaborating with developers and testers to troubleshoot, optimise, and deliver high-quality digital products.
- Strong background in automation testing with proven Playwright expertise.
- Solid coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (bonus if you’ve also worked with Java, Kotlin, or C#).
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to create clear test plans, strategies, and reports.
- Enthusiasm for automation testing and eagerness to learn and grow.
