The successful candidate will act as a trusted adviser to their network, helping partners identify lending solutions, maximize opportunities, and achieve strong commercial results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of broker and referral partner relationships.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building activities.
- Implement account and relationship management strategies to increase volumes and market share.
- Conduct regular meetings, business reviews, and training sessions with partners.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and drive new business growth.
- Maintain an active pipeline and accurately record activities within CRM systems.
- Work closely with Credit, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to support partner and customer outcomes.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify commercial opportunities.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Skills & Experience:
- 1+ years' experience in: Relationship Management, Business Development, Account Management, Financial Services Sales, Banking or Lending.
- Proven ability to build and maintain commercial relationships.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales and growth targets.
- Ability to work independently while managing a portfolio of clients or partners.
Desirable -
- Experience within financial services, banking, fintech, lending, asset finance, or mortgage broking.
- Existing broker, introducer, or referral network relationships.
- Understanding of consumer lending, asset finance, or commercial lending products.
- Knowledge of Australian lending and compliance requirements.
