Role Overview
The Senior Salesforce Engineer position is a hands-on role focused on building and evolving Salesforce capabilities that underpin key business processes. Working closely with product, delivery and architecture peers, you will contribute to both day-to-day solution delivery and longer-term technical improvement across the Salesforce ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building and supporting Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and associated capabilities
- Building scalable components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and declarative tools
- Leading technical delivery on Salesforce enhancements, integrations and platform upgrades
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Architects to translate requirements into robust solutions.
Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Senior Salesforce Engineer or Developer in enterprise environments
- Experience working with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Data Cloud
- Strong hands-on development skills - Apex, LWC, Flows and Salesforce configuration, with some Omnistudio would be highly regarded
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security model, performance considerations and best practices
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team-wide engineering standards
- Salesforce certifications and experience in regulated industries will be highly regarded
