Job Description
You will work closely with Partners and Team Leaders across a diverse portfolio of SME and family-group clients.
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, payroll tax and relevant compliance
• Tax planning, advisory support, identifying risks, and reviewing structures
• Managing WIP, budgets, productivity KPIs, and workflow
• Attending to client queries and building strong client relationships
• Reviewing workpapers, mentoring juniors, and contributing to internal training
• Keeping up to date with ATO changes, monthly tax updates, and professional development requirements
Successful Applicant
You will ideally bring:
• 3+ years’ experience in public practice
• Strong technical grounding across compliance, tax planning, and advisory
• Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar software
• Ability to analyse financial statements and provide value-adding recommendations
• Excellent communication with a client-centric mindset
• Desire to grow, learn and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team
