Job Description
This is a well-rounded Senior Accountant role where you will step beyond pure compliance and take ownership of your own client portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
- Managing BAS, IAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax and Div 7A
- Working directly with clients and acting as a trusted advisor
- Supporting advisory engagements and value-add work
- Liaising with ATO and external stakeholders
- Reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
Successful Applicant
- 5+ years’ experience in public practice
- CA/CPA qualified or near completion
- Strong technical foundation across tax and compliance
- Confident with client interaction and relationship management
- Motivated to step into a more advisory-focused role
- Some leadership or mentoring experience preferred
