Role Overview
As a Senior Associate, you’ll play a key leadership role within the Commercial Team, managing complex matters and mentoring junior lawyers. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and enjoy autonomy while contributing to the success and direction of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client matters from instruction through to completion
- Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term client relationships
- Provide strategic direction and technical guidance on commercial matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (contracts, leases, licences, T&Cs)
- Support corporate transactions through due diligence and drafting
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in commercial drafting and advisory work
- Strong technical skills and sound commercial judgment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
- Leadership capability and passion for mentoring
