We’re looking for an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join a highly regarded and well recognised Commercial Law team in Melbourne.
Working closely with a respected Principal and a team of talented, collaborative lawyers, you’ll gain broad exposure across multiple industries including automotive, manufacturing, and health.
This role offers a diverse flow of commercial law work, with a strong focus on Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate & Commercial matters such as:
- Commercial contracts and corporate structures
- Business restructures and private capital raising
- Corporate governance and directors’ duties
- Succession planning and stakeholder agreements
You’re a proactive, client-focused lawyer who enjoys tackling complex commercial challenges and mentoring others. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in corporate and commercial law, with hands-on M&A experience managing transactions from $5 million to $150 million
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for quality work
- Experience delegating, mentoring, and supporting junior lawyers
- A genuine interest in business development and fostering new opportunities
