The team works closely with internal stakeholders, custodians and external fund managers to ensure strong investment governance and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Crediting Rate Operations, this role plays a key part in strengthening governance and oversight across portfolio accounting, investment operations and custodian service delivery. You will help ensure the accuracy, transparency and integrity of investment accounting data while driving operational improvements and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for portfolio accounting and accounting instruction quality.
  • Enhance oversight of custodian processes, reconciliations and operational performance
  • Design and implement controls, escalation frameworks and validation processes.
  • Develop reporting and governance KPIs across investment accounting operations.
  • Support stakeholder training and governance awareness initiatives.
  • Maintain risk management frameworks aligned to regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Drive process improvements, automation opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Build strong working relationships across internal teams, custodians and external service providers.
Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.  
  • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience within investment accounting, unit pricing, investment operations or fund services.
  • Strong experience analysing complex financial data, reconciliations and validation processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with governance, risk and control frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of custody, fund accounting, unit pricing, trade operations or middle-office functions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with exposure to Power BI or Power Automate highly regarded.
