Role Overview As a Senior Associate, you’ll provide strategic regulatory advice and manage high-profile matters across multiple disciplines. You’ll work closely with senior practitioners and engage directly with clients and regulators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on licensing, authorisations, and regulatory change projects
- Provide product and structuring advice across banking, payments, and consumer credit
- Manage multi-disciplinary matters including financial crime, prudential regulation, and digital assets
- Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to practice growth
- Engage with regulators and support major reform initiatives
- Senior Associate-level experience in financial services regulation (private practice, in-house, or regulatory body)
- Strong technical knowledge in one or more areas: banking, payments, consumer credit, financial crime, prudential regulation, digital assets
- Australian or New Zealand practising certificate
- Strong academic background and commercial mindset
- Ability to manage complex matters and collaborate across teams
