Role Overview As a Senior Associate, you’ll provide strategic regulatory advice and manage high-profile matters across multiple disciplines. You’ll work closely with senior practitioners and engage directly with clients and regulators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on licensing, authorisations, and regulatory change projects
  • Provide product and structuring advice across banking, payments, and consumer credit
  • Manage multi-disciplinary matters including financial crime, prudential regulation, and digital assets
  • Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to practice growth
  • Engage with regulators and support major reform initiatives
Skills & Experience:
  • Senior Associate-level experience in financial services regulation (private practice, in-house, or regulatory body)
  • Strong technical knowledge in one or more areas: banking, payments, consumer credit, financial crime, prudential regulation, digital assets
  • Australian or New Zealand practising certificate
  • Strong academic background and commercial mindset
  • Ability to manage complex matters and collaborate across teams
  • Interest in innovation and emerging technologies impacting financial services
