Role Overview
As Senior Associate, you’ll deliver practical, commercial advice in a fast-evolving regulatory environment. You’ll work closely with clients and colleagues on advisory, regulatory, and incident response matters, including cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support cyber incident and data breach responses, including pre-incident preparedness
- Advise on cyber and privacy-related regulatory investigations and litigation
- Provide guidance on emerging digital and technology regulation (online safety, platform regulation, AI governance, media & communications)
- Manage matters and budgets effectively, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Build strong client relationships and support business development initiatives
- Admitted to practice in Australia
- Strong experience in privacy, technology, and information security
- Practical expertise in cyber matters, including incident response and cyber insurance
- Sound knowledge of Australian privacy and digital regulation; cross-border exposure desirable
- Excellent organisational, drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Collaborative and commercially minded

- Exposure to significant cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters
