A well-established mid-tier accounting and advisory firm in Sydney CBD is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join its growing Audit & Assurance team on an initial 4-6 month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. Applicants on a 417 Working Holiday Visa are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, perform and complete external audit engagements for a broad portfolio of clients.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting standards and audit methodology.
- Identify audit findings and communicate key issues to managers and partners.
- Complete smaller engagements independently and contribute to larger, more complex audits.
- Liaise directly with clients throughout audit engagements, maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Prepare high-quality audit documentation and working papers.
- Develop an understanding of clients' businesses and identify opportunities to add value.
- Support advisory and special engagement work where required.
- Review the work of junior auditors and provide mentoring and constructive feedback.
- CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion).
- Minimum 4 years' external audit experience gained within a public practice accounting firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Auditing Standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and work effectively within deadlines.
- Proven experience building strong client relationships.
- Full Australian working rights or a 417 Working Holiday Visa with availability for the duration of the contract.
